兵庫県三田市出身。関西・東京を拠点とするピアニスト。
ピティナ・ピアノコンペティションC級金賞・D, E, Jr.G級ベスト賞、F級銀賞、ショパン国際ピアノコンクール in ASIA高校生部門 アジア大会金賞・ソリスト賞、宝塚ベガ学生ピアノコンクール第1位・宝塚演奏家連盟賞、ジュラ・キシュ国際ピアノコンクール第1位、野島稔・よこすかピアノコンクール第2位、藝大ピアノコンクール第2位、クロード・ドビュッシー国際音楽コンクール第2位、ロンドン国際音楽コンクール第１位、下田国際音楽コンクール第1位・大賞、ロスピリオージ国際ピアノコンクール第2位（ロスピリオージ賞）など、国内外のコンクールで多数入賞。
大阪教育大学附属高校池田校舎を経て、東京藝術大学を卒業、同大学大学院修士課程を修了。オーストリア国立グラーツ国立音楽大学 ポストグラデュエート課程を最高評価にて修了。 現在、東京藝術大学大学院 博士後期課程に在籍。
これまでに、ピアノを石田幸、石井なをみ 、江口玲、ティル・フェルナーの各氏に、フォルテピアノを小倉貴久子、カタリーナ・オリヴィア・ブランドの各氏に師事。
2019年には、ケヴィン・ケナー氏の推薦によりFrost Chopin Academy（マイアミ）にて奨学生として研鑽を積む。
博士課程では、20世紀初頭のピアノ演奏実践およびテンポ・ルバートについて研究しており、日本音楽学会全国大会および東日本支部定例研究会にて研究発表を行うなど、演奏と研究の両面から演奏表現の探究を行なっている。
宗次エンジェル基金／公益社団法人日本演奏連盟、一般財団法人福島育英会短期海外学修助成、東京藝術大学海外留学支援奨学金各奨学生。
演奏活動を中心に、研究および後進の指導にも力を注いでいる。
Profile
Ryohei Hashimoto, born in 2000 in Japan, is a pianist active in Japan and Europe. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Tokyo University of the Arts. He also completed the Postgraduate Course at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz with distinction. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree at the Tokyo University of the Arts. He studied under Akira Eguchi and Till Fellner.
He has received numerous prizes at national and international competitions, including First Prize at the Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, First Prize at the Gyula Kiss International Piano Competition, First Prize and Grand Prize at the Shimoda International Music Competition, First Prize at the London International Music Competition, Second Prize at the Nojima Minoru Yokosuka Piano Competition, Second Prize at the Tokyo University of the Arts Piano Competition, Second Prize at the Claude Debussy International Piano Competition, Second Prize at the Rospigliosi International Piano Competition, as well as several awards at the PTNA Piano Competition.
His doctoral research focuses on early twentieth-century piano performance practices, particularly tempo rubato. He has presented his research at the national conference and the Eastern Japan regional meeting of the Musicological Society of Japan in 2025.
He has received scholarships and grants from the Munetsugu Angel Fund / Japan Federation of Musicians, Fukushima Ikueikai Foundation, and the Tokyo University of the Arts Overseas Study Support Scholarship.
Alongside his concert activities, he is actively engaged in research and teaching the next generation of musicians.
